Charlotte Hobbs Library Art and Artisans Fair
95 Main Street Lovell, Maine

This lively local show raises funds for the library in Lovell, Maine. It draws a range of craftspeople from Maine and New Hampshire, and is a much loved event. The first time I did this show, I saw a mother bear and two cubs cross the road right before I got to the school!

Laudholm Nature Crafts Festival

Back for its 35th year, this fair draws artisans from New England and beyond and is set in the beautiful Wells Reserve – a national estuarine research reserve. It is a major fundraising event for the reserve which maintains active research programs on our Maine Coast habitat. Come early to give yourself time to explore the 2,000+ acre preserve with miles of coastal trails.

The Common Ground Fair is quintessential Maine. Organized by the Maine Organic Farmers’ and Growers Association, the fair features farmers’ markets, agricultural demonstrations, Maine made products, demonstration gardens, educational programming, and amazing crafts by all Maine artisans.

Maine Crafts Association Guild Fine Craft Show

I will be back at the Maine Crafts Guild/Maine Crafts Association fair this year. Located at the wonderful Fort Andross, this is a wonderful juried show with a wide range of artisans.

Bradbury Mountain Arts Holiday Show

Last year a lightening storm took out the hall’s elevator, so we were all crowded together on the first floor of Mallet Hall. The group of wonderful artisans made it work, but we will be back to having the whole building this year. Bradbury Mountain Arts organizes this show, and it features both 2D and 3D work. It’s a lovely event.
